Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American model and actress. A talent agent discovered her talent and convinced her to go after a career as an actor or model. After much thought and consideration she made the decision to quit school to start a new career within the entertainment business. Her debut was in the film Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, but she wasn't thrilled with how the film turned out. It took her a long period of time to refine her acting and she starred in a variety of low-budget films in an effort to show her talents. It was a difficult path for this actor however she was successful thanks to her strength of character and determination. She received recognition fame and favorable reviews for her role in the film Training Day after which her acting career began to take off. The actress is well known for her movies 2 Fast 2 Furious Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans Holy Motors and 2 Fast 2 Furious.
